Directors

Judy Baker, Director
Judy Baker has been President of Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated since October 2007. Ms. Baker holds an Honours B.Sc. Geological Engineering in Mineral Resources Exploration from Queen’s University, a M.B.A. from Western Business School, and has fourteen years of experience in the mining and mineral exploration sector including equity analysis, fund management, exploration services and mining company experience.

James Fairbairn, Director
Mr. Fairbairn is a self-employed chartered accountant, consulting for public companies since 1990. Mr. Fairbairn holds or has held the following executive positions: CFO, Treasurer of CGX Energy Inc. since 1997; CFO and a director of Vena Resources Inc. from 2004 to January 2008 (as CFO) and October 2008 (as Director); CFO of Garrison International Ltd., 2005 to December 2006; CFO and Treasurer of Trelawney Resources Inc. from 2005 to January 2008 (as CFO) to present (as Treasurer).

Kerry J. Knoll, Director
Mr. Knoll co-founded Thompson Creek predecessor Blue Pearl Mining Ltd. with Ian McDonald. He was also the co-founder of Glencairn Gold Corporation and Wheaton River Minerals Ltd., now part of Goldcorp. He served in various capacities with these companies for the past 20 years, including President and Chairman. He now serves on the board of several mining companies. Other accomplishments during his career include terms as the editor of both The Northern Miner Magazine and the Canadian Mining Journal.

Mitchell E. Lavery, Director
Mr. Lavery, a registered professional Geologist in the Province of Quebec, is a self employed consultant and President of Patriot Exploration Inc. With 30 years experience in all aspects of mining exploration and production he has represented clients across North America, South America, west Africa and western Europe.

Sheila Pickens, Director
Ms. Pickens is a Director of Black Pearl Minerals, prior thereto she was a director of MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. and Northfield Capital Corporation.

Robert A. Sibthorpe, Director
Mr. Sibthorpe is the former President of Black Pearl Minerals and has served on the company board since March 2001. Mr. Sibthorpe was the VP Business Development with Ivanhoe Mines, President of Magsmouth Research Inc., a mining analyst for several financial institutions; and currently consults as Technical Director for several exploration and mining companies including Black Pearl Minerals.

George Cole
George Cole was Vice President of Exploration for Teck Cominco America, where he was responsible for all US exploration efforts from 1993 to 2001. One of George's many career highlights includes leading the team that more than doubled the resource base in the Red Dog zinc district in Alaska. Mr. Cole was COO of Great Western Minerals from 2002 to 2004; and is currently the President and CEO of Portage Minerals Inc.
